Pete Yeomans, Research Lead at Wise, kicked things off by discussing the importance of fostering a research-first culture. Drawing from his experiences at three different organizations, Pete highlighted how to build scalable, seductive research processes that drive a strong appetite for research within a company.
Next, Caio Orio, Design Lead at Wise, took the stage with his talk "Design by Delight." He emphasized how to create lasting emotional connections with customers by crafting experiences that are both memorable and meaningful, delving into the psychology of design that resonates on a deeper level. He talked about the new Wise brand, their creative direction and process.
Closing the event, Zsombor Fuszenecker and Peter Sajevics from Craft Docs shared their insights on maintaining a "User Obsession." They discussed how to keep users excited by not just fulfilling requests, but by understanding the underlying problems driving them. It was an engaging session that reinforced the importance of truly listening to users and delivering solutions that meet their core needs.
